Bnhpr looks like you have not done the required home work of what is happening and what has already been ventilated on this case.
the testimony of the rig personnel that survived is that when they hit the EDS & nothing happened on the BOP stack due to the fact that it was without hydraulic pressure. The EDS button was pressed by the subsea super before they left the rig, and even before the captain requested him to do so. The BOP panel had already a red light on it’s top area. Again see the testimony that has been given.
So a ROV tech guys sees a leak on a BOP pod fitting (with the ROV inspecting the Bop) and you talk about a leak on a surface accumulator…
Looks like you are the one with a lack of understanding of how a BOP works…
