No, not yet. I drove a bit down Grand Isle but it was getting late and I turned around to find a room. Should have done some planning on that… Ended up staying in Thibodaux.
I did see some boom deployed driving down LA 1. I can’t remember where. And did see some marsh grass that seemed browned a bit right above the water line. I need to take a closer look tomorrow to see what it could be. Didn’t get close enough for smells yet. I’ll drive/walk around more tomorrow.
I did see a truckload of yellow boom heading toward Grand Isle.
And the marshes are beautiful here! This is my first time seeing them and like seeing the ocean or the Grand Canyon for the first time, video and pictures don’t do it justice. It just p*sses me off even more now that oil is getting into them. BP and company had better get their *ss in gear and prevent the oil from getting there in the first place.
