Currently I’m an OS on the lakes looking to see home more often. I enjoy martime but I hate how long im away from home. I’m thinking about joining the SIU to get on tugs at my homeport of Cleveland to see home more often. However that’s all SIU controlled. Does the SIU have any restrictions for colorblindness?
It is not the SIU that has the restrictions, it is the USCG requirements for the rating you may wish to work or attain that has the colorblindness restriction.
