Can Anybody shed some light on what the job is like? Is there options to work a rotation? Does one only pilot ships or are there collateral duties etc… Thanks
You work exclusively for the Navy piloting ships, submarines, bigger barges that need a Pilot, and any commercial vessel that may come into the Navy base. Its basically a weekday job with some limited work on the weekends and after hours. You do get all the federal holidays off and about 2 weeks of vacation time.
