Can an AMO book member work for military sealift command as a civmar and still pay dues and keep his book?
I am sure you can continue to pay dues and keep your book but MSC is not represented by the AMO. I doubt AMO will credit any time worked there for pension and other benefits.
That works for me, that’s all I wanted.
Since MSC is represented by MM&P, the AMO might decide to penalize you in some way. IF they were to find out.
The engineers are represented by MEBA.
