I think the “bizarre obsession” lays somewhere else. How can anybody defend the actions of a person that is willing to do ANYTHING to get re-elected?
Even to the extent of getting thousands of people, incl, women and children, killed to reach his goal.
OK I think most of us know that he is likely to be prosecuted for his criminal behaviour, unless he can maintain immunity by being President.
Will he ever go to jail?? Highly unlikely, since the legal process will most likely extend past his live expectancy.
Are you on again about “foreigners don’t know anything about the US and have no right to voice an opinion about anything American”??
If so, maybe that should also be applicable to Americans that wants to comment on things foreign??

Simple math: POTUS44 has made $15.6 million in royalties from book sales. Hence $15 million house. It’s called the entertainment industry, and it’s pretty lucrative.
Pres. Reagan made $2 million for just two lectures in Japan ($4.5 million in 2019 dollars). He made plenty thereafter.
Pres. GW Bush has given about 200 lectures at a minimum fee of $100k each. Anyone need a calculator to figure that total out?
Easy way to see a prez’s net worth in office? Thing called a tax return. Each of the above POTUS released theirs every year.
POTUS45? He’s still waiting for permission from Putin to do so.

If you by obsessive mean that I don’t get intimidated easily and thus not change my opinion based on who write what and who and how they criticize my opinions, then I admit to be “obsessive”.
If you disagree with me, say so and come with your well founded counter arguments. That is debating. Accusations, personal attack and BS statements are not part of a debate.
I did not say you stoop that low, but it does occure even on this forum. Such things are expected on low browed Facebook Groups (or whatever they are called).
Irony, sarcasm and fairly rough ribbing is OK though, but not everybody shear the same sense of humor. (Cultural differences maybe??)
