I recently found out that most schools charge anywhere from $1000 to $1500 for the advanced firefighting course. If you are in the southern California area you can bypass the schools and go directly through MSC. The courses are 100 dollars a day. The class would only be 400 dollars. The refresher course is only 100. That is a huge difference! With our industry the way it is every penny counts. You do not have to be in the service. All you need is your TWIC and your MMC to get on base in San Diego. I hope this helps some of you! PM me for name and number.
