I recently had my physical but my doctor may be prescribing a new medication. I’m not sure what the process is with the NMC medical people. Do I resubmit a new 719k or do they have an addendum form?
IMHO, unless it’s one they "must know about”, I’d wait until the your next “medical review” for work. [I’m retired, so I forget what the medical card is called now.]
When I was in this position, I just reported it on the next year’s CG719K and provided a doctor’s note when they asked for more info. Cost me a couple days turnaround time but nothing more than that. Anderson Kelly gave me a much harder time of it than the USCG Medboard did.
