I have an ocean engineering degree from an ABET university.
I want to get the 3rd AE, it says it can be reduced seatime if it’s a marine, Mechanical or electrical engineering degree. I don’t see why ocean would get reject. However I want to confirm this. I reached out to NMC helpline, they said you have to apply to find out. I am not ready to apply. I want to know before I commit to the sea time and courses. Anyone know or know where I can reach out to

Just doing a google search it seams Ocean and Marine engineering are somewhat interchangeable names.
