What is the difference between east and west coast payscale, with MSC

A reasonable rule-of-thumb is you will make twice your base pay. So if your base pay is $50k/year you will make $100k/year. It varies greatly in the short term but over time it’s about right.

Is that a safe assumption across the board? I can see where OT is coming into play for deck and engine, but I’ve found close to no information about how it shakes out for communications personnel in the radio room.

Though I have seen them do other related things outside the radio room for OT, they are not allowed to say. It is Top Secret.
