Tropical Cyclone Marcus was located about 276 NM northwest of Broome, Austrailia and was moving towards the west at 15 knots. Max winds are estimated to be 105 knots with max significant wave height of about 12.5 meters (41 feet). The cylcone is in a low wind-shear enviroment with warm SST of 30-31C so Marcus will continue to intensify to near 140 knots in about 36 hours.
