The recent grounding of the Spirit of Glacier Bay reminded me of another Cruise West grounding earlier this year. Spirit of Alaska went aground somewhere in Tracy Arm a month or two ago. I’ve been looking around, but can’t seem to come up with a more specific location. Anybody know? Was it on the bar? the shoal that comes out off No Name Cove? somewhere else? <br><br>Interesting how there have been more groundings so far this year, the first that district 17 has started enforcing “acting as” pilotage requirements for the smaller cruise boats.
