Does anyone know what I should expect from Uscg for cardiomyopathy (heart disease), I have an ef of 40%. My concern is of course to be denied my renewal. Thanks for your help and insight.
My guess is you’ll be fine with the USCG. Especially helpful is a recent separate “fit for duty” letter from your doctor.
I have a similar condition and when doing sign on physicals I’m always fit but always have to present that letter. I don’t even go to the physical if I don’t have that letter in hand. Good luck.
