MARAD activates Training ships, who is crewing?

TS Empire State and TS Kennedy are to be sailing soon for MARAD activation. TS Kennedy is supposed to sail Sept 6 (announced Sept 1, https://www.maritime.edu/ts-kennedy-heading-houston) and statement says American Overseas Corp is managing it. No announcement on TS Empire State.

Is American Overseas Corp union? Any leads on these?

AMO will crew both vessels, outside of the ships crew from each academy.

SUNY Maritime’s training ship was SIU for unlicensed and TOTE for officers. Both are AMO, as New3M has correctly stated.
