I am wondering if it is time to wind down the endless EL FARO talk cycle?

I’m not sure if this is still active or has been mentioned before (it’s a very long thread) but our Union (Nautilus) paper ‘telegraph’ did an article on a book written by Rachel Wade called Into The Raging Sea about the sinking of the El Faro.
It might be of interest to some of you.

I guess that their legacy will be covered lifeboats on future antiquated and undermanned ships heading into the teeth of Category 3-4 hurricanes…for whatever that’s worth.

I know that I always think of the SS Marine Electric when I have to try on my Gumby Suit, (and also the poor concentration camp inmates who were the human Guinea pigs from which the human data on hypothermia was learned).
