Going through my bookshelf, I found my old Modern Marine Electricity and Electronics by Smith. I purchased it in '70 for $14. (half a day’s pay) Excellent book to take you from basic theory through application. It also shows how far we’ve come since it was published in '66.
Another book I always carried with me was “Ugly’s Electrical References”.
