here is some data right from the Alfa Laval website on this model

Technical Data:

model T280 for trunk piston engines

Normal filter outlet pressure 3.5–6 bar
Min. filter outlet pressure 3 bar
Max. filter inlet pressure 12 bar
Test pressure 24 bar
Max. viscosity in filter at normal operation 75 cSt
Max. temperature in the filter 100°C
Alarm Δp 0.8 bar
Backflushing flow 3–5% of filter inlet flow

Filter screen material Stainless steel

typically, I believe this is surplus from the Washingtoon State Ferry System. Why it was surplussed is of course a great mystery since it was never installed?

happy now Ms. Heloise of Yonkers?

they did? I never saw anything about that!

anyway, I get alot of my surplus stuff from Washington State Department of Enterprise Services in Tumwater. That is where this came from.
