$ 3.2 Bn- Contribution of Cruise Ships to Canada’s Economy in 2016

According to a report, the cruise industry contributed around USD 3.2 billion to Canada’s economy in 2016 and cruise-related spending in Canada also increased by 34% between 2012-2016. Further, the cruise industry generated more than 23,000 direct and indirect jobs in Canada, an increase of 31 per cent since 2012.
